Participant Information

Safety Rules Agreement

I agree to follow these safety rules at all times during my participation

  • 1Always approach horses calmly and quietly, never from behind
  • 2Never run, yell, or make sudden movements around horses
  • 3Wear closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing at all times
  • 4Follow all instructions from staff and facilitators
  • 5Only interact with horses when a staff member is present
  • 6Report any unsafe conditions or behavior immediately
  • 7Keep food and drinks away from horse areas
  • 8Respect personal space of both horses and other participants

Supervision Agreement

Understanding the role of staff supervision during activities

I understand and agree that:

  • All activities with horses must be supervised by qualified Hope Reins Healing staff
  • I will not enter horse areas or interact with horses without staff present
  • I will immediately follow any instructions given by staff, especially in emergency situations
  • Staff members have the authority to modify or end activities if safety concerns arise
  • I will report any safety concerns to staff immediately

Disclosure Agreement

Commitment to open communication about health and safety

I agree to promptly disclose to Hope Reins Healing staff:

  • Any changes in my physical or mental health condition
  • Any medications I am taking that may affect my participation
  • Any fears, concerns, or anxieties I experience during sessions
  • Any incidents or near-misses that occur during my participation
