Please read the following risk disclosure carefully

NOTICE: UNDER TEXAS LAW, AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES.

Inherent Risks of Equine Activities

I understand that there are inherent risks associated with equine activities, including but not limited to:

  • The propensity of equines to behave in ways that may result in injury, harm, or death to persons on or around them
  • The unpredictability of equines' reaction to sounds, sudden movement, unfamiliar objects, persons, or other animals
  • Hazards such as surface and subsurface conditions
  • Collisions with other animals or objects
  • The potential of a participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to injury

Acknowledgment

I acknowledge that I have read and understand this document, and I am signing it voluntarily. I understand that by signing this document, I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue Hope Reins Healing, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents for injuries resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.

Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in equine activities at Hope Reins Healing, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Hope Reins Healing, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, and sponsors from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained by me while participating in any equine activity.
